Festus Kimani –
Volume I is an incredible opening to the series. The level of detail on Gikuyu land boundaries and the ‘Elder’s Story’ at the beginning is profoundly moving. It provides a technical but readable look at how our ancestors organized their society before 1903. The maps are a huge plus!
